I've updated the Plain Family page and added a Points page and Family Tree page, in case anyone is interested. If not, carry on!
In the last chapter, we left off with a super cute picture of Sasha and her imaginary friend. In this chapter, we'll start with a super cute picture of Xander and his imaginary friend!
Also, in the last chapter, I was a very crappy person and forgot Willa and Xander's birthdays. This time, I was determined to not forget any birthdays, but I did anyways and Evander grew into an adult while getting a leftover piece of cake out of the fridge.
At least there was cake this time?
Willa went back to work, and has been climbing the ranks pretty quickly.
But with her working and constantly out making sufficient friends to satisfy her charisma skill, Evander has been left to care for the children alone.
The kids have become his life. He wakes them up every morning, snuggles and plays with them, feeds them, and then puts them to bed in the afternoon.
He also devotes a lot of time to teaching Xander the skills he needs for life. It's a lot for one man to do on his own, but he manages by ignoring writing and painting for the time being.
Grandpa Connor stops by often but only to read or haunt random household appliances. It's nice to see him again, though. I've really missed the old guy.
Jane makes a rare appearance every now and then, too. She prefers to spend her time away from the other side by playing video games on Evander's computer.
After Evander had put the kids down to bed at night and Willa had winded down after a long day at work, the two of them would spend the rest of the evening together.
Having two kids wasn't going to change things between them, that's for sure.
Willa might have been done having children, but she and Evander certainly weren't done with whoohooing.
During his occasional spare time when the kids were napping or playing with their toys, Evander started painting his self portrait. He was excited to hang it up alongside his mother's and father's in the study.
Willa, meanwhile, was busy advancing in her career and skills. Nearly every day after work and on the weekends, she had a new friend over, honing her charisma skill.
Willa took Sasha's birthday as an opportunity to invite family and friends over. Evander helped the little one blow out her candles while friends helped to celebrate.
Sasha grew up with the mooch trait, much to her parents' dismay. They hoped she wouldn't be mooching off of them into her adulthood.
Kids never look like their young adult selves, but from what I can see, Sasha is a good blend of Willa and Evander. She's definitely cute!
Sasha's imaginary friend, Cuddles, grew up along with her!
Since her little brother was too young to play with, Sasha was thankful to have Cuddles around. The two of them were the best of friends.
Sasha, much like her Aunt Caroline, loves chess. Cuddles is always up for a good match of chess with Sasha. They're inseparable.
I'm really thinking about using the science table to turn Cuddles into a human and marrying him into the family. It'd be interesting, definitely.
Sasha also spends a lot of time building with blocks. She's a pretty skilled kiddo.
Evander finally finished his self portrait and began working on Willa's.
Willa is really advancing in her career! She's already reached the sixth level. She's kicking serious butt in the world of politics and schmoozing.
I guess all of the romance between her and Evander is really helping to boost Willa's charismatic skill.
I finally bought Sasha the science table, and she's pretty good at discovering new potions.
Every now and then, though, something goes wrong...
Cuddles is in the background looking a bit confused.
I moved Connor and Jane's graves to the far left of the plot, and fenced in a nice little space for them.
Willa hosts a ton of successful political campaign parties. Everyone seems to have a good time, and she always gets enough donations to satisfy the requirement for a promotion.
The whole family is always invited, and everyone has a good time. A lot of dancing goes on at these "formal" events.
And yes, that's Micah (first picture) and Caroline (second picture) turning up at one of Willa's parties.
When she's not hosting parties and dancing with family members, Willa is at the part talking with the ever-growing Plain family. One day, she ran into teenaged Martin (son of Caroline and Dedric) and their youngest son, Thaddeus.
It's so interesting to see their kids! I really can't say enough how much I love the Story Progression mod.
Jane and Connor are still visiting the household. Jane, who never so much as jogged when she was still kickin', now loves to work out in the home gym to electronica music.
Connor, on the other hand, is pretty boring and just walks through walls and reads books.
Despite still being devoted to his painting and writing, Evander still spends a lot of time with Sasha and Xander.
He tries his best to help Sasha with her homework. I'm not quite sure why he thinks the mini-cemetery is the best place to concentrate, but whatever works, I guess.
He also finally completed Willa's portrait. They look pretty good side-by-side in the study.
Meanwhile, Willa has worked her way so high up in the political world that she gets to take a limo to and from work. That's pretty impressive work there, Willa.
Willa is so, so close to accomplishing her's, too. She's now the Mayor, and like any politician, has her mind on money.
Seriously, the funds in the house are pretty low right now. After I built the pond for Xander, the Plains only have $785 to their name.
And that's where we'll leave off for now, poor and finally caught up to where I am in-game!

We haven't seen much of Xander lately, but it's his birthday! I didn't forget about it, either.
Sasha looks kind of terrified in the background.
He grew up with the loner trait - the perfect addition to his insane and grumpy traits.
He'll be an interesting sim.
He's super adorable. :) I think it makes up for his rather interesting set of traits.
He has Jane's eyes, like Sasha, but definitely received his mom's coloring. I can't really tell who he looks like, though, at this point.
Sasha and Xander don't really spend a lot of time together. It's a strange sibling relationship. Sasha is always working at the science table or playing with Cuddles, and Xander is usually talking to himself...
Unless, of course, he's fishing at the pond I built in just for him. His LTW is to be a Creature-Robot Cross Breeder, so this is a good place to start.

Evander maxed the writing skill, FINALLY, meaning he has completed his LTW of becoming an Illustrious Author! Yay!
