In the last chapter, everyone was growing up. Micah became a toddler, Caroline became a teenager, and Evander grew up into a child and then into a teenager.
Many more birthdays await us in this update...
Jane and Connor are celebrating their birthdays together!
They're both becoming elders... and I'm a little sad about it.
Connor is a rather cute old fellow.
Old age took his hair, but not his looks!
Jane aged gracefully. She's still got it.
I've also learned to take multiple pictures when aging up in CAS now due to how much my sims like to blink in their pictures.
In the same night, it was time for another birthday... Micah's!
It's weird to see Jane, as an elder, holding Micah. It makes it seem like he's her grandson and not her son.
Anyways, Micah rolled the neat trait.
I feel kind of bad for Micah. It's not that he isn't cute, because he is... it's just that he's my least favorite.
He's kind of boring, and he's Connor's look alike. He doesn't really do much of anything.
Except he does play chess with Caroline, though.
It keeps him occupied and out of his parents' hair while they're... um...
...busy.
Old age wasn't going to stop these two from leading a life full of love. Nearly every moment together was spent wining, dining, and whoohooing.
If Jane wasn't an elder, I suspect she would already be pregnant by now. This couple really loves to love each other.
Romance was in the air for another Plain family member, too...
Okay, maybe not romance, but Micah and his friend from school, Malika, are really close. They spend a lot of time together at her house after school. I can't wait for them to become teenagers so they can be high school sweethearts.
Evander met a girl named Nicola Bartholomew at school, and their friendship has since blossomed into young love.

Meanwhile, Caroline's teenage years went by loveless and ambitiously. She reached the third rank of chess and got to level 9 of the logic skill before her birthday.
It's finally time for the oldest of the second generation to become a young adult!
She rolled the perceptive trait.
Here's Caroline as a young adult! She looks exactly like Jane did at that age, sans the freckles.
I gave her a really cute, scholarly outfit to match her brains and love for pink. I just really love Caroline. She's such a cool girl. She can rock a pink blazer and make grown men cry at the chess table.
I'm probably going to keep her around until she completes her LTW and then send her out on her own into the world.
I don't remember taking this picture, but I think I took it to show off the gym I added onto the house next to the dining room. I also fully furnished the living room.
The legacy house is finally starting to look nice.
Here's Caroline at graduation. She got class valedictorian and was voted Most Likely to Save the World.
She's such a kick butt lady.
Gosh. I adore her. I can't say it enough.
Caroline goes to the park nearly everyday to spruce up her logic skill.
Her chess matches sometimes get so intense that they draw a crowd.
On days she doesn't challenge strangers in the park, she plays ranked chess matches in the comfort of her own room.
One day during one of these matches, a handsome young man showed up. She was used to having old geezers for opponents. She instantly was attracted to Dedric Keaton.
However, he left as soon as the match ended (Caroline won), and she didn't get the chance to really get to know him.
After so much attention on Caroline, it about time that Micah got some time in the limelight.
Adolescence, here he comes!
Aaaaaaand Micah aged up into Connor 2.0 and gained the dramatic trait. Maybe now he'll be a little interesting.
Jane has yet to reach her LTW, but she is so. darn. close. She's almost maxed out the painting skill.
Connor continues writing books, bringing in $23,000 a week in royalties.
Between Jane and Evander's brilliant and masterpiece paintings and Connor's book royalties, the Plains are making bank right now.
And when they aren't working on their hobbies, they direct their passions toward one another.
The love is still going strong between these two. Gah. They're so old and adorably in love.
Micah, too, is having success in the field of romance. Now that he and Malika are hormone raging teens, they can finally kiss a little (or a lot).
The only Plain family member that hasn't had much action is Caroline...
But that is fixing to change.
-------
I'll leave you wondering for a little bit about Caroline's romantic prospects!
