1.6 - Teenagers

I'm just going to admit it: I'm terrible at taking pictures. Which is why in the end of the last chapter, we just found out that Jane was pregnant...

... and at the beginning of this chapter, she gives birth. Tada! What a quick and easy pregnancy!

Also due to my terrible photography (or lack thereof), there are no pictures of the baby's arrival.

However, I did remember to take pictures of the upgrade to the house. I finally closed up all of the walls.

I also added on a nursery for the newest Plain family member, a boy named Micah. Micah was born with the brave and couch potato traits.

After acing her way through school and halfway mastering the logic skill, Caroline faced a transition into adolescence. It was time to say goodbye to pigtails and hello to puberty.

She rolled the perfectionist trait.

Caroline grew up to be the carbon copy of her mother, which really saddened me. I was hoping for some interesting genetics. Sigh.

Being a teenager meant that Caroline could finally help out around the house! She allowed her parents some alone time by helping to take care of Micah (I knew I had pictures of him somewhere!).

She autonomously plays and snuggles with Micah, which is really cute.

I love Caroline. I really do.

I just wish she wasn't her mother all. over. again.

Her parents took advantage of the allotted alone time every chance they got...

And in the blink of an eye, it was time for Micah to blow out the birthday candles and age up into a toddler!

(And yes, that is a child Evander in the background... I guess I forgot to take a picture of his birthday.)

I did, however, manage to get this wonderful close-up picture of him to show off how absolutely adorable of a child he is.

SO. CUTE.

I believe he rolled the bookworm trait when he aged up.

Anyways, this is Micah as a toddler. He looks EXACTLY like Connor.

I'm kind of annoyed by the fact that Caroline is the exact replica of Jane and Micah is Connor's carbon copy.

My hopes and dreams of a beautiful, unique child are now placed on Evander.

Evander spends a lot of time painting, like his mom. This in part due to his artistic trait and in part due to the fact that I will need a portrait painter when Jane passes on in the future.

Evander and Connor have a really close relationship. It's precious.

They hug each other and talk all the time when I'm busy playing Jane or Caroline.

His relationship with Connor and his bookworm trait inspired Evander to roll the LTW of Illustrious Author, which I accepted.

Caroline and Evander are pretty close, too. She always helps him with his homework, and by the look on his face, he definitely appreciates it.

Jane is getting SO CLOSE to accomplishing her LTW. She's reaching the end of level 7 in the painting skill.

I think I took this picture to announce that Connor finally conquered his Professional Author LTW!!!

Now, I believe he makes somewhere around 8,000 simoleons a week in royalties,

And because he has accomplished his life's dreams, he can finally relax and teach Micah those vital toddler skills that have, until recently, been neglected.

Caroline isn't your typical teenaged girl. She isn't interest in boys.

She's only interested in destroying men twice her age in a game of chess.

Her logic skill is at least to level 7 by now, and she's ranked at level 2 in chess already. I love Caroline so freaking much. She's awesome.

High-five for girl power.

Evander's paintings are getting better and better. He's such a little artist.

I always miss Evander's actual birthday, but have a picture of him just as he aged into a teen!

If I remember correctly, he aged up with the absent-minded trait.

He's pretty good looking, and seems to be a nice blend of Jane and Connor (thank God).

However, I feel he would be even better looking if his eyes were actually open...

After Evander aged up, I splurged some of the money from Connor's (pretty dang hefty) royalty checks and did a bit of building.

I am so happy to announce that there is officially no more lawn living. Yes, that's right, folks.

The kitchen is now located indoors. There's even a dining room! (Eeeeek!)

I also built a second, much needed bathroom.

Having five sims and only one bathroom was just not cutting it anymore. Nope.

I'm going to leave you with a picture of cute, teenage Evander doing what Evander does best: painting in the solitude of his bedroom.
