My last post was on December 29th... It's been a long time since I have provided an update on the Plain Family, and a lot has happened for our favorite family since then!
I really do apologize for the long wait (though, I'm sure I don't have any anxious fans waiting on the edges of their seats), but school is hectic. I'm on spring break right now, so I hope to produce as many updates as possible!
Last time, we left off with Xander having aged up into quite the fisherman, so that's where we'll pick up!
Every moment that isn't spent at school is dedicated to fishing. Xander's fishing pond is located right next to his grandparents' graves. While it may seem sort of strange, I find it very fitting for our little oddball. He just oozes adorable strangeness.
Sasha, on the other hand, spends most of her childhood with her imaginary friend (whose name I cannot remember, though I suspect may be Peanut).
They're best friends at this point, and I've had her working on discovering the potion to turn Probably Peanut into a real boy. I really think it would be cool to have Sasha marry and have magical babies with Probably Peanut.
With Evander having completed his LTW, he's taken quite the unsuitable turn to athleticism. I'm afraid he'll hurt himself.
He's the nerdy, bookish type like his father, Connor. He just wasn't made for bench pressing. It's not in his genes.
Willa busies herself with reading her Charisma skill books. I believe at this point, she was at level 9 of the Charisma skill. She's nearing the elder stage, and I want her to be able to enjoy herself at these campaign parties while she still has some spunk.
Everyone has been so focused on their skills. though, that it seems they've neglected to check their mailbox. They had PLENTY of money to pay the bills, but they just waited too long...
I hate the repo man.
First, he went straight to the bathroom and took a painting that Jane and Connor got as a wedding gift.
Then he marched right on into Evander and Willa's bedroom and stole a red rose that Evander had given Willa during a date. Ugh.
In spite of the visit from the repo man, the Plains still had reason to celebrate...
It's Sasha's birthday!
I can't remember what trait she aged up with (I'll update the Family page with her portrait and traits later), but I immediately sent her to the mirror and dresser for a makeover.
SHE'S GORGEOUS.
She was a cute kid, but I find it hard to determine what the kids will look like based solely on their features as a child. Teens look more like their YA selves than they do as children, and Sasha is absolutely beautiful.
She got a nice blend of her parents' skin tones, and she has Willa's eye color and lip shape. I can't tell if she has Evander or Willa's nose and eye shape, though.
Probably Peanut aged up with Sasha, and they continue to be best friends.
In fact, he still creepily follows her around the house and watches her every mood. Not that Sasha notices, though. She's much too focused on the logic skill now that she's rolled the LTW of becoming a World Renowned Surgeon!
That's right, she's pretty AND ambitious!
Evander has a lot of time on his hands now that he's completed his LTW, and Willa is always either working, throwing campaign parties, or working on maxing her charisma skill, so Xander and Evander have formed a pretty close bond lately.
Nearly every night, Evander reads his son a bedtime story. I looooooove this interaction! It's so adorable and sweet.
Xander, the typical insane sim, also spends a lot of time alone, fishing in his underwear.
I believe his fishing skill at this point is at level 5, which is pretty impressive to be a kid!
Willa is always stressed from working so hard at City Hall, so she unwinds each night in the arms of her husband. These two have been together so long, and it's absolutely adorable that they still autonomously flirt with each other and roll the want to woohoo.
As part of her duties in the political career, Willa has to throw campaign parties pretty frequently.
Coming from such a large family and having so many friends of her own, a large crowd usually gathers at the Plain home on these occasions.
Caroline, Evander's older sister, even showed up to this party. She looks exactly like Jane!
The red headed guy in the background is either Micah, Evander and Caroline's brother, or one of Caroline's sons. I can't remember at this point.
As the evening closes in and the party comes into full swing, Willa and Evander break away from the crowd to spend some alone time together.
They watch the beautiful stars in the night sky, enjoying each other's company. The view from their backyard is breathtaking!
While the guests are too busy having fun to notice their absences, the two lovebirds sneak away to have some fun of their own.
Seriously, these two never get tired of each other. It's grossly adorable.
The next morning, Willa stopped Sasha in the kitchen before school.
The two's relationship meter had been steadily falling with Willa being so busy with her career and Sasha so engrossed with maxing her logic skill.

I always think it's nice to have a strong relationship between the parents and the kids, especially as they age into teens and young adults.
This is, for the most part, what the daily lives of the Plain's consisted of. Xander spent hours a day either fishing, reading about fishing, or rolling the want to fish. Sasha spent her free time experimenting with chemicals, playing chess, or talking with her imaginary friend whose name is unknown but is plausibly Peanut.

I caught Sasha and Possibly Peanut dancing one afternoon and snapped a picture. I always think it's cute that the sims have free wills of their own accord.

INTO AN ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS YOUNG MAN.
oh my god. He is beautiful.
Sasha and Xander are easily the most beautiful children to be born in my game. Ever.
He seems to be an attractive mix of his mother and his father.
With both being teenagers at the same time, Sasha and Xander became fast friends. They spent a lot of time together, bonding over the frustrations of algebra and physics.
Probably Peanut usually just watched these interactions, obviously jealous that Sasha was spending more time with her brother than with her imaginary friend.
This jealously intensified when Sasha began to spend many nights talking to a boy from school on the telephone.
Sasha would venture into the family bathroom just to get some privacy, only to have creepy PP (Probably Peanut) follow her right into the loo!
I believe it was at this point in the game that I decided that an imaginary friend would not make for a suitable husband.
It was also at this point that Sasha began seeing the boy from school, Trent.
She invited him over to her house one evening, and the two really hit it off.
They shared their first kiss and became a couple.
(By the way, look how handsome he is! I love Twallan's story progression mod. It makes for some beautiful and interesting looking babies being born all around town.)
But leave it to creepy PP to ruin the mood. He looked on as the two shared a kiss, and once he was noticed, Trent decided to go home.
Nothing kills romance like an imaginary friend ogling at you while swappin' spit.
That next day, Willa finally achieved her lifetime wish!
She became the Leader of the Free World, officially beating out Nancy Landgraab and Vita Alto as the most powerful woman in Sunset Valley.
Evander was waiting for her when she came home, and the two lovebirds immediately began a night of celebrations.
The next day, Xander brought home Casey Plain-Williams from school. Casey is Micah's son, meaning he is Sasha and Xander's first cousin and Evander and Willa's nephew.
He is very handsome and unique looking. You can see a lot of Connor Frio in him.
Instead of spending time with their long-lost cousin, though, the siblings played chess together in the family room.
Sasha, at this point, was one or two skill levels away from maxing the logic skill.
Xander was probably at level 4 or so of the logic skill.
Later that week, the two went to prom! I always love prom because of the whacky notifications.
Sasha and Trent went together, and Sasha ended up winning Prom Queen. I expected nothing less from Miss Perfection.
The biggest shocker of the night stemmed from the fact that Xander won Prom King.
The kid is strange. I love him, but he goes fishing in his underwear and frequently does his homework next to his grandmother's grave. He even wore his everyday wear to the formal!
I guess differences are truly appreciated at Sunset Valley Community School for the Gifted.
I figured I would end this chapter with this totally awesome picture of Sasha!
It's stunning. I can't believe I even took it. I liked it so much that I made it the background picture for this blog!
